PURPOSE: The titled device requiring only a small space, capable of reducing a power cost, by bringing a raking means into contact with opened bags of raw cotton under pressure while a turntable capable of arranging and placing a given number of te opened bags is being rotated, sending the raked out raw cotton by air.
CONSTITUTION: A given number of the opened bags A, B and C are arranged and placed on the turntable 1, and a pair of the front and rear horizontal beams 17 and 17 are attached to the fixed frames 13, 13aW13d in such a way that it can be raised and lowered by the revolution of the screw shafts 15 and 19. A spike roller is set at the middle of the horizontal beams 17 and 17, the spike roller is dropped by a given pitch per revolution of the turntable 1, and the pressure guide 38 and the spike roller are brought into contact with the tops of the bags A, B, and C under pressure. The raw cotton raked out is sent by air through the hood 35, the expansion duct 36, and the fixed duct 37 to the hopper bale breaker or step cleaner.
