PURPOSE: To provide an automatic flaw detecting device which carry out defect inspection of a ring-state structure safely without requiring much labor and improve reliability of data on the position of the defect.
CONSTITUTION: A kiln tire automatic flaw detecting device is constituted by a traveling carriage 5, an ultrasonic flaw detecting device 6 mounted on this traveling carriage and a controller for controlling the traveling carriage 5. The traveling carriage 5 is provided with driving magnet rollers 13a and 13b, side rollers 20a and 20b to be brought into contact with the side of the kiln tire and driving motors 14a and 14b. Also, the ultrasonic flaw detecting device 6 is provided with a driving motor 47 for moving in the width direction of the kiln tire. The traveling carriage 5 is provided with a defect marking mechanism 53, a contact medium supply mechanism, an air nozzle 81 for cleaning, etc.
