Title:
AUTOMATIC FOCUS CONTROL MECHANISM OF CAMERA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5498242
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide simple construction of not using electric motor and the like and make the same compact by extending photographic lens in the focus control direction by a cooperating member provided to the lens barrel portion with the spring member having been energized by a manual energizing part.

CONSTITUTION: An endless rope 12 is moved clockwise by manually operating a slide knob 8 to energize coil springs 17, 17. In their energizing positions, a rope 12 is detained and held by the detation of a hook metal 19 and hook lever 20. At the same time, a photographic lens 4 is localized in the infinity position by cam plate 15. Depression of a shutter button causes a solenoid 12 to actuate and release the detention of the hook metal 19. While the rope 12 is turned counterclockwise by the energizing force of the coil spring 17 to let the cam plate 15 extend the lens 4 in the short distance direction, a detecting lever 33 also moved and rotates a cam 36 to oscillate a moving mirror 28, whereby focusing operation is accomplished. The focusing signal causes a solenoid 37 to actuate and cooperatively actuate a detention lever 38 to dtain and stop the saw tooth part 39 of the detecting lever 33. As a result, the rope 12 stops, the extension of the lens 4 stops and a shutter release SW 40 goes ON.
