PURPOSE: To simplify a device in structure as well as to make a work in operation changeable, by making a support body so as to go down along a guide rail with rotation of a rotary body, to have the work embedded in abrasives inside a tank and, after being rotated and ground by a rotary desk, to make it go up again.

CONSTITUTION: A barrel tank 1 and rotary desks 15, 22 and 24 are all rotated, and when each work W is set to a chuck 14 in order at an uppermost position of a support body 12, this support body 12 gets going down, whereby each taper surface of these desks 15 and 24 comes into contact with it in an intermediate point in the down stroke, thus rotation is given to the work W. When the support body 12 further goes down, a support frame 23 moves to the right whereby the descent is not prevented, and when the desk 15 is separated from the desk 24, the support frame 23 is energized by coil springs 28 and 28, so it goes back to its original position. In addition, the support body 12 continues to go down, and at the vicinity of a lowermost position, the work W is embedded in abrasices inside the barrel tank 1, whereby each taper surface of these desks 15 and 22 comes into contact with the work, thus rotation is given to the work W so that it is ground and, after burrs are removed, the support body goes up and the work W is set free. Thus, a device is simplified, and manufacturing cost is reducible.
