PURPOSE: To prevent the lock of a motor and to prevent the ice separation failure by interrupting a tray motor for separating ice by rotating to twist deform an icemaking tray at the time of detecting the opening of a door when the door is opened at the time of ice separation, and energizing the motor after a predetermined time is elapsed.
CONSTITUTION: The detected temperature of a temperature sensor 17 is compared with an icemaking completion temperature. When the detected temperature becomes the completion temperature or lower, the completion of the icemaking is judged, and an ice separation is executed. That is, a tray motor is energized via a driving circuit, an icemaking tray 15 is rotated by its rotary force to be inverted upside down, the locking piece 15a of the tray 15 is brought into contact with the stopper 12a of a support member 12, and the tray 15 is twisted, and hence ice in the tray 15 is separated and dropped in an ice storage vessel. In this case, when the opening of the door of an icemaking chamber is detected by a door switch, the energization of the motor is interrupted, and after a predetermined time is elapsed, the energization of the motor is so controlled as to be restarted.
