PURPOSE: To permit the paper feed independently of the toughness of a paper sheet by installing an inclined guide which gradually rises upwardly in the direction of feeding the paper sheet and allowing a paper feeding roller having a relatively large frictional coefficient and a small hardness to be rotatably attached with the paper sheet by the swing of said roller.

CONSTITUTION: An inclined guide plate 2 is installed in tilt form, a little separated from the top edge of a paper sheet P on a paper sheet loading board 1, so as to gradually rising in the direction of feeding-out the paper sheet. A paper feeding roller 5 can swing around a rotary shaft 6 for driving a belt 11, and the surface is formed to possess a high friction coefficient and small hardness. Said roller 5 revolves and the paper sheet P on the upper surface is driven-out by the fictional force, and contacts with a guide plate 2. Since the roller 5 contacts with the paper sheet P by the dead weight, the top edge of the paper sheet P smoothly rises on the inclined surface, after the paper sheet P contacts with the guide plate 2, if the paper sheet P is thin and weak, and when the paper sheet P is tough, the roller 5 swings upwardly, and the bending of the paper sheet P by the guide plate 2 is reduced, and the roller 5 is driven with a small torque.
