PURPOSE: To prevent jamming of papers and to deliver them securely in an electronic picture copying machine and the like, by furnishing a forward end stopper to contact the forward ends of the papers, whose center portion is taller than the both sides and the upper end is bent to the direction of the movement.
CONSTITUTION: Sheets copied on one side and loaded in a stack and carrier member 3 are pushed up by a stopper 23 and their forward ends move on a press up plate 32 which goes up just before the sheets contact a forward end stopper 33, and refed to the copier, sheet by sheet, by an intermittent rotation of a feeding belt 35 and the action of a duplex feeding preventive roller 38. The forward end stopper 33 is higher at the center portion 33d than at the both sides 33a, and the upper portions 33b and 33e are bent in the forward direction of the paper feeding. Therefore, the feeding papers are carried to cross over the forward end stopper 33 smoothly with their upside center attached to the feeding belt 35 and both sides dropped down, being guided by the upper portion 33b to feed securely without jamming and the like.
