Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transaction machine capable of effectively preventing magnetic data recorded on a card being illegally read out.SOLUTION: There is provided an automatic transaction machine 1 includes: a magnetic sensor 22 which is disposed between a card insertion port 31 and a magnetic head 15; a front side sensor 21 which is disposed at a position closer to the card insertion port 31 than the magnetic sensor 22; a magnetic field generator 13 for generating a magnetic field in a space; and a control unit 18 that, when a card CA is inserted through the card insertion port 31, controls the magnetic field generator 13 to stop from generating the magnetic field from a point when the front side sensor 21 has shifted to an ON state to a point when the magnetic sensor 22 shifts to an ON state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
