Abstract:
PURPOSE:To facilitate handling of a trolley used for a work to maintain a way, by a method wherein a power source unit is removably mounted on a truck having a brake mechanism and runable on a track, and a power is transmitted during mounting of the unit to a truck. CONSTITUTION:In an automatic track vehicle, a truck 3 running along a track 1 is provided with a brake mechanism 6, actuated through a tie rod 5 through stepping-on operation of a brake pedal 4, and a parking brake mechanism 9 actuated through a wire 8 through operation of a side lever 7. A recessed part 11 formed with an under carriage base frame 12 is formed in the central part of the rear part of an under carriage 10 of a truck 3, and a power source unit 14 contained in a cubic frame body 13 is removably engaged internally of the recessed part 11. The power source unit 14 is formed such that a power transmission gear 18 coupled to an output shaft 16 of a prime mover 15 through a chain 17 is geared with a driven gear 21 on the truck side coupled to a rear wheel axle 19 through a chain 20.
