Abstract:
PURPOSE: To offer services to members according to the actual results of utilization by building a means, which recognizes a membership number when the previously registered member purchases a merchadise, in an automatic vending machine.
CONSTITUTION: A membership card is inserted into the card insertion slot 1 of the automatic vending machine (a) and when the membership card is normally read, the normal read is reported and then cash is fed into feed openings 4 and 5. Merchandises which can be purchased are indicated with lamps and once a specific merchandise selection button 7 is pressed down, information regarding the membership discrimination number, purchased merchandise name, purchased amount, arrangement number, etc., is sent to a customer management system. While the purchased merchandise is discharged, processing for the balance is performed and the membership card is extracted, so that the processing ends. Therefore, the store side can offer various serves to the member according to the actual result of the use of the membership card in a specific period.
