PURPOSE: To attain heating at a HOT sales temperature regardless of the contents of a conned beverage by deciding the detecting level of the can wall temperature by means of a detecting level determining means when the contents temperature corresponding to the canned beverage amounts to the HOT sales temperature, and comparing the detecting level with the can wall temperature.
CONSTITUTION: A high frequency power exchanger 3 supplys high frequency power to a heating coil 1 to inductively heat a canned beverage 2, a temperature detector 9 detects the can wall temperature of the canned beverage 2, and a detecting level determining means 10 determines the detecting level of the can wall temperature according to the canned beverage 2. Further, a comaprator 11 compares a temperature detecting signal from the temperature detector 9 with the detecting level determined by the detecting level determining means 10, and a driving means 12 drives the high frequency power converter 3 by the signal from the comaprator 11. Thus, the heating to the HOT sales temperature is attained regardless of the contents of the canned beverage.
