PURPOSE: To reduce the cost and space of the supplier in the caption by providing a stock portion serving as a guide, a separating mechanism, a rotating mechanism, a positioning mechanism, a reverse rotating mechanism, and a detector, on the above-mentioned rotating mechanism and the positioning mechanism, for detecting if a shaft work is supplied and fed.
CONSTITUTION: In a stock portion serving as a guide, guide shafts X are naturally supplied and fed by the effect of their dead loads between upper and lower guide plates 13, 14 so as to be stocked by a predetermined amount. And only the top one of the shafts X is separated by means of a separating mechanism (a pair of stoppers 20, 30), and in a positioner, the separated shaft X is rotated by feed rollers 40 so that the shaft X is smoothly fitted to sensing attachments 50, thereby performing the orientation and positioning of the shaft X. In addition, the reverse rotation of the shaft X under this state kept intact enables the shaft X to be supplied in a desired feeding direction. Moreover, the respective mechanisms are provided in order with respect to a direction to feed the shaft X thereby smoothly performing each operation.
