To provide a low floor twin motor automobile, particularly a bus good in fuel economy and low in degree of pollution.

An automobile comprises the first and second motors 10 installed at the both sides in opposition to each other through a center line A in the longitudinal direction of a bus, a driving axle assembly 20 comprising the first and second gear housings 25 having an input gear and an output gear driven by one of the driving shafts 14, inside, an axle 50 extending from the gear housings to the side parts of the car outward in the transverse direction, an axle housing 52 extending from the gear housings to the side parts of the car, and a reinforcement member 60 extending from one of the gear housing to the other one 25, and the first and second wheel assemblies 70 rotatably installed on the first and second axle housings, and respectively driven by the axle. The driving axle assembly is a full floating driving axle assembly, so that the weight load stress is not transmitted to the axle. The gear housing is installed near a side part of the bus, and the bus has the low floor lower than the axle.
