A cover 13 integrally and simultaneously molded with a hard plastic hold-down member 14 and a soft plastic resin shielding member 15 in a state of turning this shielding member 15 upside, is attached to a top face part 2 of a stationary rail 1, while this hold-down member 14 has an inner end 14a interposed between the edge part of an owing part 3 and a vertical part 11 and also an outer end 14b engaged in a state of turning round a side face part 5 of the stationary rail 1, and thereby the shielding member 15 closes the opening part 3 with two inner ends 15a and also closes a clearance S between the stationary rail 1 and a carpet 9 with two outer ends 15b. With this constitution, a plurality of functions so far required for a slide rail can be brought into full play with one cover 13 alone, so that there is no need to require a lot of parts in the past. Therefore, the number of parts is reducible, and simultaneously assemblage efficiency in the slide rail is thus improvable.
