PURPOSE: To provide an automobile transmission using gears but without a clutch.

CONSTITUTION: This automobile transmission gear comprises several drive gears 19a-19d superposed on a drive shaft 15, and driven gears 20a-20d superposed on a driven shaft 18, and detachable transmission spring members 25 are installed between the adjacent drive shaft and respective drive gears. Each transmission spring member 25 can be controlled by a manually or automatically operated shift control assembly 32 and independently reciprocated in a power transmissible connected position and a power nontransmitting detached position to change the position. Inclined helical spring transmission members 31a-31g are respectively provided between the adjacent driven gears and driven shaft to allow the inner driven gear to rotate at the speed not slower than the outer driven gear, and the power of the driven shaft is further transmitted to an outer shell of a differential speed element 28 via a torsion adjusting device 30.
