This autonomous mobile object is provided with: an obstacle determination means 30a for determining whether or not an obstacle as the disturbance of autonomous traveling is a mobile obstacle based on ranging data acquired by a ranging device 31 for acquiring ranging data in a traveling region; a map creation means 20a for creating a three-dimensional map including the mobile obstacle related with determination; a marking means 30b for performing the marking of coordinate positions on the three-dimensional map corresponding to the mobile obstacle related with determination; a mobile obstacle deleting means 20b for deleting the mobile obstacle from the coordinate position on the three-dimensional map whose marking has been performed after the every lapse of a prescribed time; a path plan creation means 20c for creating a path plan based on the three-dimensional map after the mobile obstacle has been deleted; and a moving means 10a for moving in the moving region through a driving mechanism according to the created path plan.
