Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide auxiliary battery fitting structure that can mount an auxiliary battery advantageously from the viewpoint of space and protect the auxiliary battery.
SOLUTION: A rear end cross member 4 is integrally extrusion-molded in hollow shape. An auxiliary battery Bs is inserted together with a battery tray 11 from a battery insert hole 6 provided in a front wall 4a thereof, and a battery bracket 10 is fastened and fixed to the outer surfaces of the front wall 4a and a lower wall 4c to mount the auxiliary battery Bs inside the rear end cross member 4. The auxiliary battery Bs can therefore be protected without having influence on a motor room and other space of a body.
