An auxiliary combustion chamber 17 is formed in an auxiliary chamber member 15 arranged in a cylinder head 4, and the auxiliary combustion chamber 17 and a main combustion chamber 5 are communicated via a nozzle port 16. A heat transfer member 20 is extended up to a root part by crossing the inside of the auxiliary combustion chamber 17 from a tip inner wall of the auxiliary chamber member 15. Heat in the vicinity of the nozzle port heated by a flame torch is radiated to cooling water of the cylinder head via the heat transfer member 20, to prevent the occurrence of the preignition with the auxiliary combustion chamber tip as the ignition source.
