To provide an auxiliary furniture which can prevent a floorstanding storage furniture from toppling over, and can effectively use a gap between a ceiling, with ease of assembly and setup and without a loss of an appearance.
Side wall members 1L, 1R composed of lower wall bodies 2L, 2R and upper wall bodies 3L, 3R moving up and down by a manual operating up-and-down mechanism 31 installed into the wall bodies 2L, 2R are provided between the storage furniture and the ceiling and fixed with height adjusted, and a front face of the auxiliary furniture is closed by door members 21 attached to the wall bodies 2L, 2R and a frieze board member 15 supported by the wall bodies 3L, 3R so that the inside of the auxiliary furniture is utilized as a storage space. Accordingly, it eliminates an uncomfortable feeling with the floorstanidng storage furniture.
