Title:
AUXILIARY INVERTING CIRCUIT FOR INVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS55106083
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable omission of an inverting capacitor and a reactor for an inverter by connecting one end of a switch having self-turn-off capacity to the intermediate tap of the primary winding of an output transformer in parallel with a thyristor connected to an outside terminal. CONSTITUTION:The primary winding of an output transformer 2 in which a load 3 is connected to its secondary winding is connected between thyristors 11 and 12 having no self-turn-off capacity as main controllable electric valves and the intermediate tap M of a DC power supply 1. Transistors 21, 22 and flywheel diodes 31, 32 are connected as a turn-off controllable electric valve through the winding portion 5 of the intermediate tap A and outside terminal to the intermediate tap A of the primary winding of the transformer 2 in parallel with the respective thyristors 11, 12. Since the induced voltage at the winding portion 5 is applied as a reverse bias to the thyristor 11 when the transistor 21 is conducted at its inverting time, the thyristor 11 is turned off. The transistor 22 may be conducted for short time to turn off the thyristor 12.
