Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary member for feeding sheets that is used in a pair with a sheet feeding roller, can surely feed transfer sheets one by one without causing any jam even if the transfer sheets are curled or have burr, effectively prevents the slippage of the transfer sheets even if sheet powder stays on the sheet feed surface, and can effectively avoid the jam.
SOLUTION: In the auxiliary member for feeding sheets that has a sheet feed surface, is arranged opposite to the sheet feeding roller, and allows the transfer sheets for forming images to be passed between the sheet feed surface and the sheet feeding roller, the upper end of the sheet feed surface is formed sharply and a number of protrusions are arranged along the feeding direction of the transfer sheets to form a sawtooth surface.
