Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an avoidance track prediction device for highly-accurately predicting an avoidance track for a target vehicle to avoid an on-road object.SOLUTION: The avoidance track prediction device for predicting an avoidance track for a target vehicle (e.g., an other vehicle) to avoid an on-road object detects the on-road object (in particular, an obstacle which is obstructive to target vehicle travelling), determines a visibility characteristic caused by the on-road object (e.g., an obstacle type according to the visibility characteristic), and predicts an avoidance track for the target vehicle to avoid the on-road object on the basis of the visibility characteristic of the on-road object.
