Abstract:
To provide an awakening support system capable of reducing a possibility of impairing comfort of occupants.SOLUTION: An in-vehicle system sequentially determines a drowsiness level and a fatigue level based on biological information and driving hours of a driver. An awakening support system Sy1 applies awakening stimulus such as light and cool air to the driver based on the event that the drowsiness level reaches a prescribed value or more. A fatigue mitigating system Sy2 applies fatigue mitigating stimulus alternately repeating warm heat and cooling to the driver based on the event that the fatigue level reaches a prescribed value or more. When both of the awakening support system Sy1 and the fatigue mitigating system Sy2 are operated, a mediation part F53 imposes a restriction on the operation of the fatigue mitigating system Sy2. For example, the mitigation part forbids an output of warm heat having contradictory attributes to cold air, as the awakening stimulus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
