Abstract:

To improve running stability during steering.

This axle fixing controller for an industrial vehicle in which an axle is attached to its vehicle body to freely rock up and down comprises a steering angle sensor 1 for detecting a steering angle θ, a steering angle differential part 24 for calculating a differential value θ' of the steering angle θon the basis of the detected steering angle θ, a vehicle speed sensor 2 for detecting a vehicle speed V, a reference steering angle variation rate calculation part 25 for calculating a reference steering angle variation rate θ0' according to the detected vehicle speed V, a steering angle variation rate comparison/ decision part 28 which compares the calculated differential value θ' with the calculated reference steering angle variation rate θ0' and outputs a first axle fixing signal in the case that the differential value θ' is not less than the reference steering angle variation rate θ0', and an axle fixing device which fixes the rocking between the vehicle body and the axles when the first axle fixing signal is output.
