In the axle spring for a vehicle, an elastic part 3 having a laminated rubber structure in which a plurality of elastic layers 4 and hard partition walls 5 are laminated alternately in radial inner and outer directions in the concentric or substantially concentric state with an axial center P is interposed between a spindle 1 and an outer cylinder 2 having the same or substantially the same axial center P as that of the spindle 1. The axle spring 1 is equipped with the attenuation mechanism b comprising a variable volume chamber 7 in which liquid 8 for attenuation is filled, and a liquid chamber 13 communicating with the variable volume chamber 7 via an orifice 12 and capable of expanding/contracting contrarily to contraction/expansion of the variable volume chamber 7.
