Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new liquid mixture that has a small load on the environment, is safe in handling, and hardly causes a change in liquid composition.SOLUTION: A liquid composition comprises 80-99.9999 mol% (Z)-1,2-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (1223Z) and 0.0001-20 mol% (E)-1,2-dichloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene (1223E).EFFECT: The liquid composition has a small influence on the global environment and exhibits azeotrope-like properties. Consequently, even when the liquid composition is used in an open system or used for a long period of time, the composition fluctuation does not occur practically. The composition fluctuation hardly occurs even when the liquid composition is recovered by distillation. Therefore, the liquid mixture can be suitably used as a cleaning agent (a solvent).SELECTED DRAWING: None
