Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an azimuth measuring device, which can measure the arriving direction even if a radio wave is dispersed by an obstacle and the like and has the improved measuring accuracy.
SOLUTION: The phase difference of the received signals between antennas, which are aligned at the interval of 1/4 wavelength or less is obtained. Then, these phase differences are accumulated between the measuring antennas located at the interval of the 1/2 wavelength or more. Thus, the phase difference data between the measuring antennas #1 and #3 and between #2 and #4 of the first and second antenna groups are obtained. Then, the arriving direction of the radio wave is measured based on these phase difference data, the distances D1 and D2 between the measuring antennas of the first and second antenna groups and the wavelength of the signal.
