Abstract:
To provide a rubber composition having a high specific gravity and excellent in sound insulating properties, heat irradiation properties and the like by blending an inexpensive filler having a high specific gravity to halogen rubber, carboxylated rubber or polysulfide rubber.
The rubber composition is prepared by blending halogen rubber (chloroprene or the like), carboxylated nitrile rubber or polysulfide rubber with the filler having a high specific gravity. In the rubber composition, 100-700 pts.mass (preferably 300-700 pts.mass) baked zinc oxide is blended with 100 pts.mass rubber as the filler having a high specific gravity. The rubber composition can be used as a sound insulator, a heat radiator and the like.
