PURPOSE: To prevent generation of friction by drum rotation when a band brake device is disconnected, and improve the fuel consumption and a durability reliability while securing advantages with relation to cost and adjustment easiness for a support point in the band brake device having a brake band supported by an anchor pin at one end and by a stem shaft at the other end.

CONSTITUTION: An anchor pin 6 and a stem shaft 8 are supported in a case 5, and position regulation flanges 9, 10 having holes through which the anchor pin 6 and the stem shaft 8 penetrate are provided at a support point side bracket 3 and an action point side bracket 4 respectively.
