Abstract:
PURPOSE: To remove the exudate of wound, minimize the harm to a newly formed tissue, minimize the possibility of bacteria pollution of the wound, and further effectively determine the optimum timing of replacement of the bandage. CONSTITUTION: In a bandage, a pad 12 being in contact with a wound without being adhered and being impermiable to bacteria and a liquid is adhered to a base substance 14, and the absorption of the exudate of the wound by the pad 12 is observed through the base substance 14. A cover sheet 16 having an opening 18 is adhered to the base substance 14, and the sizes of the base substance 14 and the pad 12 are made to be larger than the opening of the cover sheet 16, and the pad 12 is brought into contact with the wound without being adhered to the wound, and the cover sheet is adhered to the skin of a patient around the wound.
