PURPOSE: To perform print with the print position correction for slight difference even with disagreement, by the print through the result of comparison between the print designation number of lines of the magnetic recording section provided for the bankbook and the printed number of lines information through optical means provided on the unit.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of print columns are filed between the cover 1 and back cover 2 of the bankbook, and the magnetic recording section 5 writing in the specified items to the specified position of the back cover 2 magnetically is provided. This bandbook is inserted to the insertion slit 16, the magnetic head 27 reads in the print designation line number information and others of the recording section 5 and it is fed to the main control section 42. Further, the detector 29 detects the presence of the printed line optically, and it is fed to the printed number of lines detector 49 to detect the final printed number of lines and the information is fed to the main control section, where the print designation number of lines information of the head 27 and the p-inted number of lines information of the detector 49 are fed collation section 51 to return agreement or disagreement signal. If the difference in case of disagreement is within a given number of lines, print is enabled based on the line number information. If exceeding a given number, it is returned.
