PURPOSE: To make it possible to easily take a workpiece in and out by uniting a centrifugal barrel polishing machine body providing plural polishing cylinders turning on their own axes on the other periphery of a rotary cage, and turning said polishing machine body on a supporting point by 90°.

CONSTITUTION: A centrifugal barrel polishing machine 11 body, a driving cage 13 for a motor 12, etc., and a rotary part for a grinding cylinder 14, etc., are constituted into one block, and fixed on a base 15 rotatably engaged with a case 17 with respect to a supporting point 16. The base 15 is interlocked with the opening and closing of a top cover 18 via a hinge 19 of the top cover 18 to change the angle of the primary shaft 20 of the base by 90°, and when closing the cover 18 to drive a motor 12, the cage 13 freely fitted to the main shaft 20 through a belt 21 revolves and the polishing cylinder 14 turns on its own axis to provide a horizontal shaft type operation. In such a way, it is facilitated to take a workpiece in and out without detracting polishing performance.
