Abstract:
PURPOSE: To simultaneously obtain the desirable surface finishing quality of a work piece and optimum cutting and grinding force by forming a barrel polishing medium using plural kinds of material of different specific gravity.
CONSTITUTION: A polishing medium is formed of a core 1 for securing the weight of the medium and an outer shell 2 for securing surface finishing quality of a work piece. The work piece can be finished efficiently into the optimum state by this medium.
