PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base device which allows a structure such as a mezzanine and a temporary stage to be formed in such a manner as to have the degree of freedom of a change in horizontal size and shape, and enables the free relocation and extension of the structure.
SOLUTION: This base device 1 is equipped with supports 2 which are disposed in positions corresponding to four corners of a rectangle, beams 3 which are disposed between upper parts of the supports 2 facing each other in a lengthwise direction J of the base device 1 and between the upper parts of the supports 2 facing each other in a width direction K of the base device 1, orthogonal to the lengthwise direction J, so as to couple the supports 2 together, and a panel 4 which is laid on the side of a top surface of the base device 1. Each of the upper parts of the supports 2 is provided with a beam jointing member 15 which is fixed on the other side of a side whereon the beam 3 is disposed. The member 15 is composed of a pair of jointing pieces 15A which are extended out of the supports 2 along respective outer side surfaces of the paired beams 3 coupled to one of the supports 2. The jointing pieces 15A and the beams 3 are constituted in such a manner as to be fastened for fixation by bolts 13, which are made to pass through the jointing pieces 15A and the beams 3 and located in the lengthwise direction J or the width direction K, and nuts 14 into which the bolts 13 are screwed.
