A base for a halogen lamp is constituted with a base 1 for fixing halogen lamp 3 and a base part 2 having a power supply part and for fixing the base 1, and foot parts 4 are projected from the base 1. Through holes 5 having a diameter larger than the size of the foot part, through which the foot parts 4 are inserted are formed in the base part 2, and the foot part 4 is welded to the edge of the through hole 5 in the adjusting position of a filament of a halogen lamp 3 relative to the base part 2.
