Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for a display that can reduce the thickness of a liquid crystal display and can suppress a deterioration of an optical functional member in manufacturing the display.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a base material for a display comprising: a base material; an ultraviolet curable adhesive layer that is arranged on one surface of the base material; an optical functional member that is arranged on the substrate with the ultraviolent curable adhesive layer therebetween and includes an optical functional layer having a liquid crystalline compound oriented in one direction; and a functional layer that is arranged on a surface of the optical functional member on the opposite side of the ultraviolet curable adhesive layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
