Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable the use of a bath tub in safety by children and aged persons along with excellence viewed from appearance by allowing the distinguishing of a step clearly when a foot is put on the step to enter into the bath tub to avoid hazard in bathing.
CONSTITUTION: In a bath room unit having a bath tub with a step in which a bath tub is placed and assembled on a bath tub receiving base 12 rising from a washing floor 11, a step 31 for entry with at least a part thereof being light transmitting is provided in the bath tub while a lighting device 21 is provided on the rear of the bath tub receiving base 12 and at a position below the step 31.
