PURPOSE: To provide a bathing-assisting device which does not become an obstacle even when a healthy person takes a bath or at the time of cleaning, and also, makes a bathing easier.
CONSTITUTION: A gripping part 10 is attached to a bathtub 1. In the meantime, a movable part can move within a specified range to a spindle which is turnable from the horizontal direction to the vertical direction to the gripping part 10. Then, the movable part changes a main body part 60 which is integrally attached to the movable part to a horizontal position or vertical position, and also makes the main body part 60 displace within a specified range. A restraining part which restrains the relative variation between the gripping part 10 and the movable part restricts the movable part from easily turning by the weight of a human body. The main body part 60 at this time moves the weight of the human body from the outside of the bathtub to the inside, or from the inside to the outside while carrying the human body. Also, the movement to the vertical direction is a displacement to a storage position.
