To provide a battery pack with high safety, easy to combine, and having a high degree of freedom for design.
A safety valve 117 of a lithium ion battery 11 and a safety valve 127 of a lithium ion battery 12 are faced through a battery holding member 21. A joining part 115 in a region being in contact with the safety valve 117 of the lithium ion battery 11 and a joining part 125 of a region being in contact with the safety valve 127 of the lithium ion battery 12 are bound with the battery holding member 21 to form a pair of battery groups 101. Similarly, a pair of battery groups 102 is formed with lithium ion batteries 13, 14 and a battery holding member 22. A battery pack 100 is constituted by laminating the battery group 101 and the battery group 102 through an aluminum plate 31 in the thickness direction.
