Abstract:
To provide a device for achieving thinness of an electrode and high density of an active material simultaneously and for achieving improvement in output characteristics without using a binder and a conductive material in a secondary battery.
The electrode for the battery includes a current collector and an active material layer containing an active material formed on the surface of the current collector. The active material layer includes whiskers to hold the active material on the surface of the current collector.
