Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and weight of a drilling machine.SOLUTION: The drilling machine is configured in such a manner as to have: a frame that forms an L shape by a lower wall section and a front wall section; a drilling drive part that is attached in such a manner as to move up and down with respect to the front wall section, and has a motor for rotationally driving a drilling tool; and a battery housing attached to the frame that is separate from the drilling drive part, and holds a battery, which serves as a drive power source of the motor of the drilling drive part, at a position that is at the rear side of the front wall section and at the upper side of the lower wall section. The frame is configured in such a manner as to have the strength to support loads caused by the drilling tool when drilling.
