This battery shut-off device for a construction machine includes a battery 2 stored in a battery box 1, a shut-off switch SW2 connected to the negative side of the battery 2, an LED 3 one end of which is connected to the battery 2, controllers CA, CB, CC which control the construction machine on which the battery 2 is mounted and internally generate operation signals which are turned on at least when the controllers are operated, and a key switch SW1. The controllers CA, CB, CC include self-holding circuits 11, 21, 31 and display switches TR1, TR2, TR3 for displaying the LED 3 when the operation signals are turned on, respectively.
