Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery state estimation device capable of improving accuracy in estimating a battery state even when a battery temperature which deteriorates the accuracy of a battery model is in a low temperature state or the battery soundness is low.SOLUTION: The battery state estimation device includes: a part of detecting charge/discharge current 5 of a battery 3, a terminal voltage detection part 7, temperature detection means 9 and a state estimation part 11 for estimating a battery state by estimating a state parameter including at least resistance of a battery equivalent circuit model and a capacitor by a Kalman filter 17. The Kalman filter includes a prediction state estimation part 25 for estimating a state parameter at a current time from a state parameter at a previous time by using the battery equivalent circuit model, a prediction error covariance calculation part 27 for calculating an error covariance value included in estimation of the prediction state estimation part and a system noise covariance correction part 13 for correcting a system noise covariance value used by the prediction error covariance calculation part on the basis of at least either the battery temperature or the battery soundness.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
