To provide a battery storing device capable of effectively preventing misinsertion of a battery, protecting a connecting terminal, and preventing looseness of an inserted battery.

A terminal protecting flap 11 capable of standing/falling is disposed in an opening 10a of a main body cabinet 10. Under a falling condition of this terminal protecting flap 11, first batteries 20 are stored, and at this time, terminals 12a, 12b for second batteries 30 are separately protected. At this time misinsertion of the second batteries 30 are prevented under the falling condition by a first rib 11a. When the terminal protecting flap 11 is set to be in a standing condition, the second batteries 30 are stored. In a cover body 15, a guide is disposed so as to prevent looseness of each battery, and a rib is disposed for preventing misstoring of the first battery 20.
