In an inner circulation mode of the air conditioner, when in either case that an air conditioning load is large, or the air conditioning load is small and battery temperature TB is within a standard temperature range (Tlwr≤TB≤Tupr), or the air conditioning load is small and battery temperature TB is higher than the battery upper limit temperature Temg, or the air conditioning load is small and the battery temperature TB is lower than the standard temperature range (Tlwr≤TB≤Tupr), fresh air is introduced into the inside of a battery case 10, and when the air conditioning load is small and the battery temperature TB is not more than the battery upper limit temperature Temg, and not less than the standard temperature range (Tlwr≤TB≤Tupr), air of the lower temperature of either of an automobile Tinc or the outdoor temperature Tamb is introduced into the battery case 10.
