Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery trouble indicator which can detect and indicate the battery trouble in short mode without fail, and a portable radiocommunication device equipped with that indicator.
SOLUTION: In a device such as a portable radiocommunication device or the like using a plurality of chargeable batteries with possibility of causing the trouble in short mode connected in series, a voltage detection means 3, which detects whether or not the voltage across the plural batteries connected in series is within the voltage range that it can take when one piece out of the plurality of batteries has caused trouble in short mode, and an indication means 5, which indicates the output condition of the voltage range detection means, are provided. Accordingly, even in such a device that it is hard to check the decrease of the battery capacity in usual use form, the battery trouble in short mode can be detected surely.
