The battery unit 33a is provided with an operation controller which measures the internal temperature of the battery unit 33a to make the ON-OFF control of a Peltier element 39. When the internal temperature as measured with a temperature sensor 35 is higher than the threshold, an IC chip 36 supplies the Peltier element 39 with a power to cool down the battery 34 as a whole through a heat conduction member 70.
