To make the loss low, to simplify the configuration and to make the weight light by providing a beam-shaping device that controls phases of distributed radio waves and provides an output of the result, a plurality of amplifiers that amplify the radio waves, and a spatial power combiner that receives a plurality of radio waves from the amplifiers, combines the radio waves and provides an output of the result to an input terminal of a specific element depending on the phase of the combined radio wave to a feeder.
A beam-shaping device 1 distributes a radio wave received by a feeder 6 into a plurality of numbers (M), a phase shifter 2 controls each phase of the radio waves and provides an output of the result. A plurality (M) of the radio waves being outputs of the beam-shaping device are respectively amplified by a plurality of (M) of amplifiers 3. A power synthesizer 4 receives a plurality of numbers (M), which are the outputs of the amplifiers and combines them and provides an output of the combined output to an input terminal of a plurality of numbers (N) of element antennas, depending on each phase. The output terminals of the power combiner 4 are connected directly to the element antennas 5 in a primary radiator, and a direction of each beam corresponds to each position of the element antennas 5. Thus, the beams are scanned by changing the element antenna to be excited through the control of the phase shifter 2 of the beam-shaping device.
