Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a device which detects vibration state of a bearing in noncontact state to a bearing and then estimates bearing abnormality and remaining life of the device with a screened bearing and a number of bearings. CONSTITUTION:The objective device consists of a microphone 1 which is installed at a position away from each of a plurality of bearings by a specified distance and measures sound.R an ultrasonic region and a monitoring station 5 which outputs an abnormality prediction signal of each bearing by recording and analyzing sound from each bearing which is measured by the microphone 1. Then, the measurement sound corresponding to each bearing from the microphone 1 is subjected to envelope-processing by an envelope processing device 7 in the monitoring station 5, frequency component intensity is analyzed by a frequency analyzer 8. the magnification of the monitoring frequency component intensity which is measured this time for' the monitoring frequency component intensity which is registered at an initial and normal occasion of bearing is calculated by a personal computer 9 for control and then abnormality and remaining life of the bearing are estimated according to the magnification.
