PURPOSE: To obtain the correct value of an error when a rotational direction changes and accurately correct the output of a bearing detector by providing means for judging that a moving object rotates by one revolution in either rotational direction judged by rotational direction judging means.
CONSTITUTION: Rotational direction judging means 2 judges in which of two rotational directions a moving object rotates. Selecting means 3 selects either of the two rotational directions for the output of a bearing detector 1 based on the rotational direction judged by the means 2. Further, one revolution judging means 4 judges one revolution based on the output of the detector 1 selected by the means 3. Thus, the one revolution is judged for every rotational direction of the moving object. That is, whether the rotational direction is clockwise or counterclockwise is judged, the output of the detector 1 is selected by whether the means 3 selects the clockwise or counterclockwise rotational direction and the means 4 judges the one clockwise revolution from the output of the detector 1 in the clockwise rotation and the one counterclockwise revolution from the output of the detector 1 in the counterclockwise rotation. When the one revolution in either rotational direction is judged, the output of the detector 1 is corrected based on the error of the one revolution.
